“It’s just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
You put your hands on your hips
And bring your needs in tight”.
The all star cast includes recognizable faces like Elizabeth Warren, Karen O., Susan Sarandon, Eric Andre, Phoebe Bridgers, Reggie Watts, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Sarah Silverman, John Waters, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ezra Miller, Ilana Glazer, John Heilemann, George Takei, Michael Pena, Peaches and King Princess.

And that’s not the only way the Rocky Horror show will be incorporated into the political campaign. The Democratic Party of Wisconsin will be hosting a Rocky Horror Show Livestream on October 31 at 9 PM CST. The event will feature an all star lineup including original cast members Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick and Nell Campbell. Also set to appear are Connie Britton, Wilmer Valderrama, Lance Bass, Rosario Dawson, Jason George, Seth Green, Jason Alexander and David Arquette.
There will also be performances by the Dresden Dolls, Miss Peppermint, Eiza Gonzalez, Josh Gad, Ben Barnes, Jenna Ushkowitz, Rachel Bloom, Karen Olivo, Marissa Jaret, Winokur, Madison Uphoff, Kalen Chase and Rumer Willis. Donations will be collected toward funding the Biden Harris campaign.
“Rocky Horror has been changing lives for decades, and now, with this reunion on Halloween Night to supercharge Wisconsin Democrats in the final stretch, it’s going to change the world again,” Ben Wikler, party chair for the Wisconsin Democratic party said of the event. “In the final sprint of this election, we don’t need a time warp. "
The event will be a rare appearance for Tim Curry who hasn’t been out in public much since he suffered a stroke in 2012. He has since been seen only a few times, once at a premier of The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s do the Time Warp Again in West Hollywood and again at the GalaxyCon Raleigh in North Carolina in 2019.
The Halloween event will be part of a growing list of Wisconsin Democratic Party hosted virtual movies and TV reunions. Others have included the casts of West Wing, Princess Bride, Veep and Superbad.
