Arianna Grande Teams Up With Lady Gaga, Gets Accused of Stealing by Tekashi 6ix9nine

Arianna Grande has been in the news a lot over the past few days. Most notable is her collaboration with Lady Gaga. The two teamed up to record the song ‘Rain on Me’ which will be appearing on Gaga’s upcoming Chromatica album.

Grande marveled at how the two bonded during the recording. "One time ..... i met a woman who knew pain the same way i did... who cried as much as i did, drank as much wine as i did, ate as much pasta as i did and who’s heart was bigger than her whole body. she immediately felt like a sister to me," Grande tweeted on Friday morning (May 22).

"She then held my hand and invited me into the beautiful world of chromatica and together, we got to express how beautiful and healing it feels to mothaf--kinnnn cry !" Ari added. "i hope this makes u all feel as uplifted as it does for us both. i love u @ladygaga, u stunning superwoman !"

Lady Gaga did her part to maintain the love fest responding with comments like "One time I felt like I was crying so much it would never stop. Instead of fighting it, I thought bring it on, I can do hard things. @arianagrande I love you for your strength and friendship. Let’s show them what we’ve got."

‘Rain on Me’ is currently available for streaming and download on most music platforms. The full Chromatica album is set to come out on May 29.

And while that is all good and well, in other news, Ariana Grande has also recently been caught up in some drama with Tekashi 6ix9nine. The rapper is accusing her and Justin Beiber of buying themselves the number one spot on the Billboard chart for their single, “Stuck with U”.

The rapper insists the pop stars submitted tens of thousands of units of their joint charity single at the last minute right before the Billboard Hot 100 deadline. He alleged that the two bought the single themselves to secure the number one spot.

Grande responded to the rapper’s claims on social media by saying it was fans that bought those units. She also stated that only four sales per buyer are counted towards Billboard’s calculations.

Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was recently released from jail and put on house arrest due to coronavirus scares. He was serving time for possession of firearms, racketeering and drug trafficking.

He responded to Ariana’s online comeback with a video, not targeting Grande and Bieber, but rather a corrupt system. He claims that Billboard discounted 20 million digital streams of his song ‘Gooba’ which ended up at number three in the charts. He also says the company withheld information regarding the chart calculation.

In response, Billboard published an article Monday explaining its tabulation process in the interest of transparency. They also denied claims of having withheld information from Tekashi and explained that any details regarding the songs on their charts can only be released to the content’s owner.

Ugh…so much drama! On the bright side, there is plenty of new music going around. Be sure to give it a listen!
